The Water Authority of Fiji is a corporate body established under the Water Authority of Fiji Act 2007 to make provision for the effective management and administration of the Water and the wastewater systems.
We are responsible for providing access to quality drinking water and wastewater services to over 159,000 and 33,540 residential and non-residential metered customers in the urban areas of Fiji and also setting up water supply systems in rural areas.
The Graduate Engineer – Mechanical is responsible for assisting the Mechanical Engineer M&E, for the design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of mechanical systems within water and wastewater treatment facilities as well as pump stations. This role ensures the effective operation of critical systems such as pumps, motors, controls, and ancillary equipment, supporting operational efficiency and regulatory compliance. The Graduate Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams, oversee project execution, and manage maintenance activities to enhance system reliability and performance; thereby ensuring that water and wastewater systems operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with all relevant standards and regulations. This position reports to the Mechanical Engineer M&E.

The applicant must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical & Manufacturing Engineering, Plant & Maintenance Engineering with at least One (1) year experience
